RICE, March 22 – Mary Katherine Johnson, 66, of Rice, passed away in her home on Sunday, March 20, 2011. She was born in Amelia on December 11, 1944 to the late Raymond Sehen and Roxie Jarrell Sehen. She was married to Lloyd Austin Johnson of Rice and was a retired medical technician.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Pamela Quynn Bailey and husband, Matt of King William and Pennelope Quynn of Charlottesville; three sons, Martin Dale Johnson and wife, Carmen of Oak Harbor, WA, Andrew Lloyd Johnson and wife, Amy and Nicole Johnson all of Gastonia, NC; two brothers, Bill Sehen and wife, Francis and Pete Sehen all of Clarksville; a sister, Pat Palmore of Blackstone; 12 grandchildren, Noah Bailey, Gannon Bailey, Sebastian Ace Bailey, Emily Johnson, Caroline Johnson, Steven Johnson, Caitlyn Johnson, Ben Johnson, Derek Johnson, Chrispin Johnson, Jimmy Johnson and Madison Johnson

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 23, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Puckett Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center of UVA.
