CARTERSVILLE, March 31 – Annie Elizabeth Taylor Puryear, “Missie”, 89, of Cartersville, departed this life on Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Richmond.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her children, Patricia Ann McCoy, Ida J. Miller-Puryear, and Richard Al Puryear (Bettye); three stepchildren, James Puryear (Charlene), Herman Puryear (Mary) and Linda L. Puryear; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and a host of cousins and friends.

Her remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home, Cumberland, where public viewing will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Cartersville. The Rev. Dr. Robert White, pastor, will be officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. Remains will lay in state at the church one hour prior to service.
