December 30 – Happy Birthday wishes are sent out to T.J. Waycaster, of Powhatan, celebrating on Wednesday, January 5, and Rev. Clyde Senger, of Crewe, pastor of the Keysville Baptist Temple, celebrating on Thursday, January 6.
Happy Anniversary wishes are sent out to: Willie and Frances Bowles, of The Woodlands (Brookview Lodge), in Farmville celebrating on Monday, January 3, and Bill and Opal Pembelton, of Powhatan, celebrating on Tuesday, January 4.
On Friday, December 23, a large crowd of family members attended an annual Christmas Luncheon in the home of Ruby Cogdill of Cumberland. Everyone enjoyed great food, fun and fellowship.
Larry and Barbara Barone Sr., of Cumberland, visited in the home of Pete and Annie May Miles in Dillwyn on Thursday afternoon, December 23.

A large crowed attended an Annual Christmas Brunch in the home of T.J. and Stephanie Waycaster and their two sons, Blake and Jacksyn in Powhatan on Friday, December 23. Everyone enjoyed a great time together.
Welcome home to Junior Midkiff of Cumberland. Midkiff returned home from the hospital. He is said to be kicking right along.
A large crowd attended the Annual Christmas lunch on Sunday, December 26, at the home of James and Virginia Boyles in Cumberland. All who were in attendance had a nice time.
The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association (a non-profit organization) will be starting their 24th year as a group. On Saturday, January 5 at 1 p.m. they will be having their Annual Membership Drive for perspective members and business meeting with a covered dish lunch at Cedar Baptist Church, located off of U.S. Route 15 North of Dillwyn on State Route 650 (Bell Rd.). The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association will hold their Annual Board of Directors Meeting on Monday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. at Shoney's in Farmville. President Barry Miles reminds all board members to attend for lunch as well as make plans for the agenda.
