December 23 – Happy Birthday wishes are sent out to: Franklin Spencer, of Buckingham, celebrating on Christmas Day, Saturday, December 25; Ruby Cogdill, of Cumberland, Health Deane, of Dillwyn, and Joe Boley, of Buckingham, celebrating all on Sunday, December 26; Dorothy Osborne, of Saxe, and Steve Bickford, of New Canton, both celebrating on Monday, December 27; Joanna Gannon, of Gum Springs, celebrating on Tuesday, December 28; Margaret (Tweety Bird) Yates, of Dillwyn, celebrating on Wednesday, December 29; and Barbara Wyland, of Scottsville, celebrating on Thursday, December 30.
Barry and Linda Miles and James and Virginia Boyles of Cumberland, Pete and Annie May Miles and Elizabeth Stone of Dillwyn, Earlene Baker of Richmond and Mary Elizabeth Billbrough of Farmville all enjoyed an afternoon annual Christmas luncheon on Saturday, December 18 in Dillwyn. Everyone had a great time.

A very special thank you to Longwood University's Music Department for the spectacular, annual Roy Clark concert at Jarman Auditorium on Saturday evening, December 18. A large crowd attended.
A very big belated Happy Birthday cheers is sent out this week to Mary Martin, of Cumberland, who celebrated her 98th birthday on December 21. She says, “I thank God for Blessing me down through the years and meeting my needs and still allowing me to drive and get my groceries and take care of other business.”
May God Bless her and continue to smile upon her and meet all of her needs.
Billy and Marie Adams, of Farmville, visited in the home of Pete and Annie May Miles in Dillwyn on Monday afternoon, December 20. The Miles enjoyed their visit.

The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a non-profit organization, will hold their annual Board of Directors Meeting on Monday, January 3, at 1 p.m. at Shoney's in Farmville. President Barry Miles reminds all board members to attend for lunch as well as making plans for the agenda as the group begins its 24th year.
