The object of this suit is to partition certain property located in Prince Edward County being the tract of land conveyed to Alice Kelso by two deeds, one dated May 17, 1902 and recorded January 21, 1903 in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Prince Edward County, Virginia, in Deed Book 48, page 327 and the other dated July 20, 1918 and recorded July 24, 1919 in the aforesaid Clerk's Office in Deed Book 68, page 80. Said tract of land contains 106 acres, more or less. The above named defendants are believed to be heirs of Herman O. Hamilton, Jr. and the unknown heirs of Howard L. Hamilton and may have an interest in the real property which is the subject of this partition suit.

It appearing from an affidavit that there are parties who are that there are or may be parties who are the heirs of Howard L. Hamilton and other unknown parties who may claim right, title or interest in the real estate described in the Complaint who are joined in this matter under the general description of “Parties Unknown,” it is ordered that the defendants named herein appear before this Court before January 28, 2011, and do what is necessary to protect his or her interest herein.

It is FURTHER ORDERED that the foregoing portion of this Order be published once a week for four successive weeks in The Farmville Herald, a newspaper published in Farmville, Virginia, and having general circulation in Prince Edward County, Virginia.
