James River Park Seeks Americorps Volunteer

James River State Park is looking for an individual interested in volunteering for a part time position as an Americorps interpreter for the summer of 2011.
The selected candidate will present information and programs to park guests and liaison with the community. They will communicate with park Friends groups and work with the parks volunteer coordinator to increase volunteerism in the park.
In exchange for 675 hours of service, the candidate will receive $3,000, an educational award of $2,038 and professional development in the natural resource protection and public service.
