NOVEMBER 18 – Coley Raymond Fulcher, 81, of Farmville passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in Farmville.

He was a U S Air Force veteran, was retired as the operator of Coley's Auto Service and loved drag racing and playing Bluegrass music.

In addition to his wife, May Fulcher of Farmville, Mr. Fulcher is survived by a daughter, Gloria Rosser of Farmville; granddaughter, April Doyle and husband, Brian of San Francisco, CA; four brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a host of racing and bluegrass friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rosa Goin Fulcher, four brothers, John Henry, Jim, Roy and Danny and a sister, Virginia Scruggs.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, November 19, in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Thursday (tonight), at the funeral home.
