Citizen Robbed While Making Night Deposit

FARMVILLE – Police Chief Doug Mooney announced Tuesday afternoon that police are searching for a man who robbed a citizen who was making a night deposit at the Citizens Bank and Trust on South Main at 8 p.m. on November 1.
Police say the man was wearing a Halloween mask and approached the bank patron at the night deposit “and took the money by force before leaving on foot toward Belmont Circle.”
Chief Mooney's press release said the victim was treated for minor injuries at the scene and that an undisclosed amount of money was stolen.
