MEHERRIN, Oct. 12 – Mickey Lee Hilbourn, 53, of Meherrin, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 4, 2010. He was born in Marion, SC. He was the son of Judy and John Pyle of Meherrin. He was a retired mechanic from Charleston, SC.

Mr. Hilbourn is survived by a son, Mickey Lee Hilbourn Jr.; a long-term friend, Cheryl Schumake of Charleston, SC; two granddaughters, McKayla and Mariah; his mother, Judy H. Pyle; brother, Frankie Jackson and wife, Kelly of Port Charlotte, FL; two sisters, Jackie Moore and husband, Jimmy of Spartanburg, SC and Vickie Stoffer and husband, Jimmy of Sheridan, AR; a niece, and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John T. Pyle Jr.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 9, in the Meherrin Methodist Church, Meherrin.

The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, Keysville, was in charge of arrangements.
