Our Town by Thornton Wilder

Our Town by Thornton Wilder opens Sept. 30, in Longwood's Mainstage Theatre. Wilder earned the Pulitzer Prize for this work which captures the impact of small-town interaction of average people with unremarkable lives. Our Town will be staged for two weekends: Sept. 30, Oct. 1-3 and Oct. 7-10. Show times are Thurs.-Sat. at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m. Shows start promptly; no late admission. Tickets are $5 Longwood students: $6, senior citizens, LU faculty/staff, and students from other schools/colleges; and $8, general admission. Advance reservations are recommended. The Mainstage Theatre is located in the Center for Communication Studies and Theatre at the south end of campus on the corner of Franklin and Race streets.
