Members of the Friends of High Bridge Trail State Park are pictured above with two park employees after finishing a project to stain the new signs on either side of Main Street. The Friends group consists of volunteers who support the management of the trail. Meetings and/or projects are planned monthly. The next meeting will be Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library. The community is invited to attend.
