Mr. and Mrs. Timothy B. Tucker, of Keysville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Kathryn Byrd Tucker, to Matthew Price Biggers, son of Ms. Diane Ferrell, of Clarksville, and Larry Biggers, of Green Bay.

Miss Tucker is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Locke and the late Mr. and Mrs. John F. Tucker Sr. Katie graduated from Roanoke College and is pursuing a Master's of Business Administration from Longwood University. She is the business manager at Commonwealth SolutionsVA in Farmville.

Mr. Biggers is the grandson of Mrs. Christine Price and the late Mr. Julian Price and the late Mr. Robert Biggers Sr. and Mrs. Rosa Biggers. Matt is employed at Tucker Timber Products, Inc. in Keysville.

An August, 2011, wedding is planned.
