CUMBERLAND, April 15 – Thomas Ray Huffman, 63 of Cumberland passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008 at his residence. He was born November 14, 1944 in Gates City. He was the son of the late Clyde and May Taylor Huffman. He was the husband of Juanita Pruitt Huffman.

He is survived by his wife, his daughter, Teresa Lynn Beers and husband, Tony of Harrisburg, PA; brothers, James Huffman and wife, Francis of Jonesboro, TN, John Huffman and wife, Pat of Conyers, GA and Fred Huffman of Mt. City, TN; sisters, Josephine Cooper and husband, Bobby of Green-wood, SC, Peggy McGee and husband, Terry of San Antonio, TX, Suzy Deaton and husband, Bo of Johnston City, TN and Shirley Barrett of Rocklin, CA and granddaughter, Amber Beers.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Republican Grove Baptist Church in Halifax Co.

Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville, is in charge of arrangements.
