DILLWYN, Dec. 8 – Thomas Jordan Bailey Jr., 55 of Dillwyn passed away Friday evening, December 4, 2009 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born September 5, 1954 in Farmville, the son of the late Thomas Jordan Bailey Sr. and Nancy Agee Bailey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Bailey.

He is survived by a stepson, P.W. Gunter Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Dillwyn; brother, Garland Bailey of Cumberland; sisters, Kathy Clark of Oklahoma, Bobbie Yeatts of Goochland and Ann Ripley of Buckingham; three grandchildren, Gabrielle and Klhoe Gunter and Brooke Whorley and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Monday at the Bryant Family Cemetery in Buckingham.

Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville, was in charge of arrangements.
