JUNE 29 – Rosa “Vernell” LeSueur Toney, 89, of Midlothian, formerly of Buckingham, died Friday, June 25, 2004 in an Amelia nursing home.

Born August 9, 1914 in Buckingham County, she was the daughter of the late Edgar LeSueur and Martha Bryant LeSueur. She was the widow of Lindsay G. Toney.

She is survived by her children, Lindsay M. Toney of Midlothian, Doris G. Tanner of Richmond and Claude A. Toney of Buckingham; a brother, William LeSueur of Arvonia; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with interment In Mount Zion Baptist Church cemetery.
