DILLWYN, June 29 – Minnie Lee Agee Newton, 84, of Dillwyn, died Thursday, June 24, 2004 at her home.

She was born May 11, 1920 in Buckingham County, a daughter of the late John Agee and Laura Goin Agee. She was the widow of John Elijah Newton.

She is survived by her daughter, Freida N. Hensley and husband, Mike of Farmvllle; a sister, Elizabeth Newton of Dillwyn and three step grandchildren.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Interment in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
