The Heart of Virginia Master Gardeners are pleased to welcome back to Farmville Jim Revell of the Bedford Area Master Gardeners. Revell spoke at the Spring Series last March on the well-received topic of “Bugs: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.” He will be returning this fall, on Friday, October 1, at 7 p.m. to present his lecture, “Putting Your Garden to Bed for the Winter.” Revell is a lifelong gardener and a favorite speaker on horticultural topics.

The evening event will take place at the Prince Edward County Extension Office, located at 100 Dominion Road in Farmville (across from Lowe's and under the water tower) in the Natural Resources and Agricultural Building. This lecture is free and open to the public. Please come early, as seating will be limited. For more information on Jim Revell and the entire line up of speakers for the Heart of Virginia Master Gardeners Fall Gardening Series, please visit our website at www.HOVMG.org.

The Heart of Virginia Master Gardener Association is a non-profit organization, and a part of the Virginia Cooperative Extension. The association is comprised of volunteers dedicated to educating and serving the community in areas of horticulture.
