MEHERRIN, April 8 – Mary N. Biggers, 77, of Meherrin, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004.

She was born December 21, 1926, a daughter of the late Charles 'Stock' Newcomb and Minnie Eggleston Newcomb. She was the widow of Marshall E. Biggers.

Mrs. Biggers was a retired employee of Craddock-Terry Shoe Corporation.

She is survived by a sister, Mabel N. Nelson of Meherrin and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Browning Funeral Home, Keysvllle, with interment in Marble Hill Church of God Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
