KEYSVILLE, Oct. 14 – Margie Dickerson Powell, 65, of Keysville entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 13, 2008. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Carlton E. Powell; son, Kenneth Powell and wife, Renae; daughter, Cynthia Powell Mason and husband, Alan; four grandchildren, Katelyn Powell, Ryan, Jonathan, and Evan Mason all of Keysville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hansford and Grace Dickerson; brother, Charles Dickerson; and a twin sister, Margaret Dickerson Adams.

Margie was a dear friend to many. She loved the Lord and her church. She was the pianist of Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church and served as President of the United Methodist Women. She brought joy to the lives of those she touched and dearly loved her husband and family.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday (today), from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Browning Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 15, at 2 p.m. in Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
