JANUARY 13 – Margaret Payne Gibson Llewellyn, of Farmville, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 in Farmville. Twice widowed, her late husbands were Charles Gibson Jr. and John Llewellyn.

Mrs. Llewellyn was born in Bridgewater on April 18, 1915 to the late George W. and Mary Alma Jordan Payne. She was a homemaker and a member of Farmville Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Billy Gibson and wife, Myrna of Keysville, and Roger Lee Gibson and wife, Peggy of Richmond; a brother, Harold Payne of Thornburg; a sister, Ruth Harner of Stuarts Draft; 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 14, in Farmville Seventh Day Adventist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Farmville Seventh Day Adventist Church beginning at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
