HILLSBOROUGH, NC, July 6 – Lois W. Howitt, 74, of Hills borough. North Carolina, died Monday, June 28, 2004 after E long battle with congestive hear! failure.

She is survived by one sister Barbara Walters of Durham, NC; three daughters, Lynn Gratton of Raleigh, NC, Cheryl

Ellis of Hillsborough, NC and Bonnie LeSueur of Dillwyn; one son, David Howitt of Long Beach, CA; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert.

A memorial service will be held July 17 at 6 p.m. in Hillsborough, NC.
