WINGINA, May 12 – Leslie Branch Ragland, 73, of Wingina, died Thursday, May 7, 2009 in Goochland. She was born July 16, 1935 in Buckingham County, the daughter of the late Willie Louis Branch and Annie Taylor Branch and widow of Joseph William (Bill) Ragland.

He is survived by three sons, Kenneth D. Ragland of Wingina, William (Frog) Ragland and wife, Dale of Buckingham, and Berry Louis Ragland of Maidens; six sisters, Nannie Mae Moyer, Catherline Cash, Christine Branch, Becky Gibson, Lucille Wiseman, and Brenda Ragland; three brothers, Willie (Boo) Branch, James Branch, and John Branch; grandchildren, Jonathan Ragland, Leslie Ruth Morris, and Kelly and Kayla Ragland; great-grandchildren, Logan Ragland, Trenton Ragland, and Morgan Morris.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Dunkum Funeral Home, with interment in Buckingham Community Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Buckingham County Rescue Squad.
