PAMPLIN, Oct. 9 – Kevin Joseph Schear, 51, of Pamplin, died Thursday, October 2, 2008 in Southside Community Hospital. He was born March 24, 1957 in Elizabeth, NJ to Joseph B. and Mildred Squires Schear. He worked in the glass business as a Glazer.

Kevin is survived by his long-time companion, Judith Thomas of Pamplin; his children, Kevin B. Schear, Joseph L. Schear, Carrie Ann Schear, Robert F. Schear and Kennedy K. Schear all of Jackson, NJ and Shannon L. Schear of Tennessee; their mother, Cathleen Ballance of Jackson, NJ; five grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Warner of Point Pleasant, NJ and Jo Jarvis of Old Town, Maine; nephew, Harold Warner of Point Pleas-ant, NJ, and many cousins, friends and other extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 11, at Buffalo Presbyterian Church, Pamplin.
