DILLWYN, Sept. 14 – Kathleen Lawhorne Holland, 88, of Dlllwyn, died Thursday, September 9, 2004. She was the widow of Charlie William Holland.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jean Holland and a son, William S. Holland.

She is survived by a grandson, Faron Holland of Dillwyn;

two granddaughters, Roxanne H. Harris of Dillwyn and Deanna H. Staples of Lynchburg; a sister, Barbara Hawkins of Richmond; three brothers, C. W. Lawhorne, Jr. and Maurice Lawhorne both of Lynchburg and Ronnie Lawhorne of Farmville and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Monday at Bethel United Methodist Church with interment in Fort Hill Memorial Park, Lynchburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church Steeple Fund.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
