GREEN BAY, May 13 – John A. Love, II, 78, of Green Bay, died Saturday, May 10, 2008. He was the owner and operator of the Exxon Service Center in Green Bay for a number of years. He was a retired Rural Mail Carrier, and a U.S. Army veteran.

Mr. Love is survived by his wife, Jean Price Love; daughter, Deborah Love Painter and husband, Melvin; son, John A. Love, III; and grandchildren, Shannon Nicole Painter and Lauren Marie Painter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence A. Love, and a sister, Betty Love Owen.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 13, at the Bagby Memorial Baptist Church in Burkeville, with interment at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg.
