Jaqueline Southall, 72 Retired Educator Dies January 16

JANUARY 23 – Jaqueline Fore Southall, 72, of Farmville, died Friday, January 16, 2009 in Lynchburg.
She was born in Farmville, June 20, 1936, the daughter of the late Jack and Beulah Banton Fore. She was retired from Prince Edward Academy (The Fuqua School) where she taught Physical Education and Driver's Education and coached for over 40 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Grant and husband, Stewart of Farmville; two grand-children, Laiken B. Jacobs of Blacksburg and Adam Grant of Farmville; and two brothers, Lewis “Skeeter” Fore of Farmville and Earl Fore of Richmond.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 24, in the Fuqua School Gym. A reception will follow in the Gee-Price Center.
