Hannah K. Owen, 81 Of Farmville Dies January 28

FEBRUARY 2 – Hannah Kear Owen, 81, of Farmville, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 in Farmville. She was born October 15, 1928, the daughter of the late Hallick and Sarah Loveday Kear. She worked for over 30 years at Craddock Terry Shoe Factory. She was the widow of Arthur Ray Owen.

She is survived by five daughters, Agnes Loveday and Jolly Ray Owen of Pamplin, Louise Rousch and husband, Freddy of Chester, JoAnn Giles and husband, Jerry of Prospect, Mary Dawson and husband, Kenneth of Raleigh; six grand-children, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her three sisters and their spouses, Reba Maples and husband, Hobert, Bertie Grayson and husband, Earl and Connie Rolen and husband, John; her son, Jack C. Owen and a granddaughter.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville, TN with interment to be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Kear-Loveday Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Puckett Funeral Home and Friday 5-7 p.m. at the Atchley Funeral Home in Tennessee.
