PAMPLIN, March 12 – Evelyn Covington Graham, 89, of Pamplin, departed this life on Tues-day, March 10, 2009 at Lynchburg General Hospital after a long illness. She was born on February 21, 1920, the daughter of the late Jerman Covington and Maggie Woodall Covington in Prince Edward County.

She is survived by a son, Richard D. Graham, and a brother, Weldon S. Covington both of Pamplin.

Graveside services were conducted today (Thursday), by a cousin, the Rev. John Covington at Olive Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Doyne-Burger-Davis Funeral Home, Farmville, was in charge of arrangements.
