Ethel B. Gagnon, 81 Former Resident Dies May 2

CONNECTICUT, May 5 – Ethel Alanza (Brown) Gagnon, 81, of Windham Center, CT passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was born April 16, 1928 and raised in Farmville.

She lived most of her life in Windham Center. She was employed by Electro Motive Manufacturing Co. and Abbey Manor.

Mrs. Gagnon was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Gagnon and two brothers, Aubrey and William Brown. She is survived by her sons, Alan and wife, Mary of Hardwick, VT, Gary and wife, Brenda of Scotland, CT and Barry and wife, Kelly of Scotland, CT and several grandchildren.

Ethel was a member of Windham Center Congregational Church. She loved all her cats and pets and enjoyed reading, gardening, puzzles and needle-work.

A graveside service was held for her friends and family on Tuesday, May 5 at the Windham Center Cemetery, Windham.
