NORTH CAROLINA, Sept. 30 – Ellen Louise Keith Cox, 73, of Arden, North Carolina went to be with the Lord Friday, September 26, 2008, at the Hospice Solace Center in Asheville, North Carolina.

A native of North Carolina, Louise lived in Farmville from 1953 to 1998, when she moved back to North Carolina.

Louise was preceded in death by her father, Charlie W. Keith and mother, Orpha Watts Keith; a brother, Clyde O'Dell Keith and her husband, Reginald S. Cox.

Surviving are two sisters, Thelma K. Nichols of Farmville and Juanita K. Alsup of Arden, NC; niece, Vicki Lynn Lane of Morganton, NC; three nephews, James and Timothy Nichols of Farmville and Jimmy Payne of Arden, NC; three step-nieces, Angie Goldsmith of King George, Paula Edwards of Morganton, NC and Phyllis Arrington of Saluda, NC and a great-niece, Jordyn Payne of Warwick, RI.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1 at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
