Edward Nuernberger, 59 Formerly of New York Dies February 10

FEBRUARY 12 – Edward H. Nuernberger, 59, of Farmville, and formerly of Western New York, passed away peacefully after a brief, yet courageous battle with cancer, Tuesday, February 10, 2009. He was born November 25, 1949 to Margaret (Scheffer) and Robert Nuernberger.

Mr. Nuernberger is survived by his three loving children, Paula (Marc) Hight, Shaun Nuernberger, and Scott (Leah Brown) Nuernberger, and their mother, Charlene Nuernberger; four adoring grandchildren, Katarina and Maximilian Gebauer, and Gretel and Ani Nuernberger; six siblings, Robert (twin), Erich, Daniel, Mark, Terri (MacLean) and Nathalia (Allen); a special uncle and aunt, Fred and Cindy Reifsteck, and many other relatives and friends.

He was self-employed and owned his own company, Aurora Excavators. Edward enjoyed operating large machinery and working with his hands. He was very proud that his children completed college and are successful in their chosen fields.

Edward loving nature, coin collecting, and antiquing, and he instilled these interests in his grandchildren.

We will deeply miss our beloved Dad, Grampy, brother, nephew and friend.

Arrangements are in the care of Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville. A private memorial service will be held at a later date in New York.
