Dorothy Rose Bowe, 87 Mother of Area Resident, Dies

RICHMOND, July 13 -Dorothy Rose Bowe, 87, a long time resident of Richmond, died Friday, July 9, 2004. She was the widow of Robert E. Bowe.
She is survived by her son, R. Patrick Bowe and his wife, Virginia of Cumberland; her daughter, Carolyn B. Cowardin and her husband, Lewie of Midlothian; five grandsons, Brian R. Bowe and his wife, Stephanie, C. Travis, Shaun C. and Wesley B. Cowardin and Clay T. Bowe; one granddaughter, Shea B. Crutchfield and her husband. Chip; three great-granddaughters, Emily, Katie and Caroline Bowe; two great-grandsons, Trey and Spencer Crutchfield; her sister, Margaret P. Voudrle of Belleville, IL; her sister-in-law, Lucille Watson of Marietta, GA.
A memorial service was held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, Richmond, with interment in Mt. Calvery Cemetery.
