David Collmann, 53 Formerly Of Farmville Dies Wednesday

SALEM, Dec. 16 – David Jonathan Collmann, of Salem, died Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.

He was born on April 25, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Xavier and Olga Tuhy Collmann.

Mr. Collmann is survived by his step-mother, Barbara Vernon Collmann of Farmville; brothers, Bruce Warren Collmann of West Chester, PA, Mark Robin Collmann and R. Douglas Schneider of Farmville, and Richard Laurence Collmann of Jacksonville, NC; sisters, Holly Collmann Garnett of Richmond, Susan Collmann Tobin of Fredericksburg, and Sally Collmann Bass of Rice; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

David graduated from Prince Edward Academy in 1973. He was a veteran of the United States Army. During his life, David worked as a mason in the Roanoke area.

A memorial service will be held at Sharon Baptist Church in Green Bay on Saturday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m.
