GLADSTONE, Sept. 29 – Cora Hager Leftwich, 81, of Glad-stone, died Friday, September 25, 2009. She was born May 6, 1928 in Giles County, the daughter of the late Lake Hager and Elsie May Burton Hager.

Survivors include a daughter, April Leftwich (Vinson Slone); son, Randolph “Randy” Leftwich; grandchildren, Colby Tyler Slone and Monica Lee Slone; sisters, Cleatis Burton and husband, Richard, Alma Hall and husband, Doc, and Katherine Bowles; and a brother, Edison Hager and wife, Carol; and many special nephews and nieces.

Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday (today) at Maple Grove Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, is in charge of arrangements.
