BUCKINGHAM, July 13 -Christine W. Carroll, 74, of Buckingham, died Friday, July 9, 2004. She was the wife of the late William L. Carroll.

Mrs. Carroll was a retired employee of Courtland Manufacturing and a lifelong member of Woodland United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary C. Branch of Buckingham and Claudine C. Catlett of New Canton; one son, William L. Carroll, Jr. of Appomattox; three grandchildren, Rhonda Lynn White, Timothy Wayne Catlett and Acie W. Branch, Jr.; five great grandchildren, Katheryn Christine, Atlee Faith, Victoria Lynn, Cabel Morgan and Benjamin Tate.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodland United Methodist Church with interment in the Buckingham Community Cemetery.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
