Charles T. Bailey

NOVEMBER 12 – Charles Thomas Bailey was born December 23, 1945 to the late Junious Bailey and Carrie Bailey. On Sunday evening, November 1, 2009, he was called home to be with God.
He worked at Barn's Logging Company in Kenbridge for 12 years before becoming ill.
Charles was joined in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Rosa Paine.
Mr. Bailey leaves to cherish loving memories; his wife, Rosa Bailey; mother, Carrie Bailey; three daughters, Patricia Bailey of Meherrin, Cynthia Watson (Leroy) of Keysville, and Mary Berkley (Robbie) of New Hampton; son, Marquise Spencer of Charlotte Court House; stepson, Robbie Jr.; three sisters, Dorothy Jefferson of Blackstone, Carrie Booker (Stanley) of Richmond, and Velma Hines (Deacon Joe Hines) of Victoria; brother, Bruce Bailey (Lillie) of Meherrin; two sisters-in-law, Bertha Bailey of Halifax and Leola Bailey of Meherrin; two aunts, Anna Hunt and Ethel Carter, both of Meherrin; three grandchildren, Tarockis Bailey, Natasha Watson, and Anthony Watson; beloved, faithful, and true friend, “J.D.” James Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Levi Baptist Church, Green Bay. The Pastor Samuel Williams officiated.
Wilson Funeral Home, Keysville, served the family.
