Charles R. Henry

KEYSVILLE, Aug. 24 – Charles R. Henry, of Keysville, passed away at his home on Friday, August 13, 2010. He was born March 28, 1946 in Meadville, Pennsylvania to Robert and Isabelle Henry. He grew up and spent most of his life in Braceville and Newton Falls, Ohio where he worked at a steel mill. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Henry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jane Steigner Henry; daughter, Paula Henry Fulton and husband, Chris of Fredericksburg; sons, Todd Henry and wife, Kim of Keysville and Phil and wife, JoAnn of Berea, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Fred, Ben, Sam, Peter, Nichole, Abbey, Lily, Rose, and Thomas; three brothers, James, Gene, and John Henry and a sister, Rita Spahlinger, all of Ohio.
Known as “Aimlessly Wandering” in the car show world, he enjoyed classic cars, oldies music, and tractors. He touched the lives of many people and never met a stranger. He and his wife were involved in the establishment of many RSD support groups in Ohio and Virginia. He will be sorely missed by his friends and family.
A memorial service was held on Monday, August 16, at Ash Camp Baptist Church in Keysville where he attended with his family.
