RICE, June 17 – Billy Joe Carr, Jr., 44. of Rice, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004.

He was born April 25, 1960 in Farmville.

He is survived by his father, Billy Joe Carr, Sr., of Farmville; his mother, Frances Horton Combs of Moseley; two brothers, Robert R. Carr of Rice and Thomas D. Carr of Prospect and two sisters, Wanda F. Bryant of Farmville and Connie F. Bryant of South Boston.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Concord Baptist Church, Sheppards.

Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, is in charge of arrangements.
