MANNING, SC, April 13 -Barbara Kay Jeter Simpson, 62, died Friday, April 9, 2004 at her home.

Born August 8, 1941 in Crewe, she was a daughter of the late Lawson and Cleo Yeatts Jeter.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie Thomas Simpson;three daughters; four stepdaughters; a sister, Connie Young of Farmville; two uncles, Cecil Yeatts of Farmville and M. Ray Yeatts of Crewe; 10 grandchildren; eight step grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m. today (Tuesday) in the Chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning. Burial followed in Clarendon Memorial Gardens.
