RICE, March 23 – Allen W. Burnette, 54, of Rice, passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 in Charlottesville. He was the husband of Sheila Burnette and was employed with Jenkins Blue and Gray.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila; his mother; Edna M. Woodson of Worsham and step-sons, Robert Joel Frank III and Derick Thomas Frank both of Rice.

Funeral services were held March 21 in the chapel of the Puckett Funeral Home. Interment was in Trinity Memorial Gardens.
