BUCKINGHAM, Oct. 19 – Alfred Hamilton Rosen, Jr., 86, of Buckingham, died Saturday, October 16, 2004.

He was born July 12, 1918 in Buckingham County, the son of the late Alfred Hamilton Rosen, Sr. and Annie Lee Harvey Rosen.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Amos Rosen; a son, John Alfred Rosen and his wife, Merle-Ann of Lynchburg; a daughter, Deborah Rosen Alexander and her husband, David W. of Dillwyn; two brothers, Jack H. Rosen of Appomattox and Fred Rosen of Cumberland; two grandchildren, James Underwood and Lindsey Alexander both of Dillwyn.

A graveside service was held 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) in Buckingham Community Cemetery.
