JUNE 22 – Oscar Wayne Harper, 88, of Farmvllle, died Monday, June 21, 2004.

Mr. Harper was a US Navy veteran, a 50 year Lions Club member, four star athlete of William and Mary College and master of two dogs. Sandy and Brandy.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Louise Baker Harper; a son, David W. Harper and his wife, Shelia of Nottoway; a sister, Lou Muse of Richmond and a nephew, William Muse of Richmond.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Remembrances may be made to the SPCA or the Prince Edward Volunteer Rescue Squad.
