JULY 6 – Virginia Marie Cansler, 50, of Farmville passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at her residence. She was born October 19, 1959 in Norfolk, a daughter of the late George Taylor Robinette and Peggy M. Whittaker Robinette.

She is survived by her loving companion of 16 years, Ray Tharpe of Farmville; her sisters, Debra Thorpe (Charles) of Richmond and Lois Robinette of Powhatan; a close family friend, Pam Spotts; niece and nephew, Jennifer Shook (Paul) and Chasteen Neal (Megan) and their children and a special puppy, Le Le.
