DILLWYN, March 30 – Alex Seaman, of Dillwyn, passed away Friday, February 26, 2010 in Farmville.

Mr. Seaman served in the Navy during World War II. After working for the DuPont Corporation, he moved to Buckingham to pursue a dream to be a farmer. He was active in his community with both the Moose Lodge and Ruritans.

He is survived by his wife, Marti; three children and 11 grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at the Salem Methodist Church on Saturday, April 3 at 3 p.m.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, is assisting the family.
