NOVEMBER 20 – John Robert Moss, Jr., 71, of Chesterfield, died Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at his home.

He was born December 5, 1931 in Buckingham County, a son of the late John R. Moss and Laura Toney Moss.

He is survived by his wife, Betty E. Moss; his children. Dale Moss and wife, Diane, Patsy Pruden and husband, Steve and Bill Eilliott and wife, Sallie; his brothers, Lindbergh R. Moss, Bobby B. Moss, William Irvin Moss and Bill Lewis Moss; his sisters, Annie Belle McDevitt, Nellie O'Bryant, Mildred Murphy, Bessie Faith Llewellyn, Margie Brickley, June Woodcock and Diane Flippen and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with interment in Dillwyn Town Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
