BUCKINGHAM, June 24 – James A. Stanley, 76, of Buckingham, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010. He was born July 27, 1933 in Buckingham, the son of the late Frank T. Stanley and Gay Dolan Stanley. He was the widower of Martha F. Stanley.

He is survived by three sisters, Annie Reid and Peggy Rayland, both of Buckingham, and Sarah Sprouse of Dillwyn.

Funeral services were held Thursday at Antioch-Union Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, is in charge of arrangements.
