JULY 6 – Clara Ashburn Williams, 87, of Farmville, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010 in Farmville. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leon H. Williams.

She is survived by a son, N. Lamar Williams and wife, Laura Word of Arlington; daughter, Betty W. Wilson and husband, Michael of Victoria; sister, Edith Griffin of Detroit, MI; three grandchildren, Michelle Smith of Victoria, Jessica Friedman of Annandale, and Camille Williams of Arlington; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 8, in Trinity Memorial Gardens.

The family requests that contributions be made to Farmville Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
