NEW CANTON, June 1 – Beulah A. Jennings, 96, of New Canton, peacefully passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Dillwyn. Born December 13, 1913 in Mount Pilot, NC, she was the widow of Clarence C. Jennings.

She is survived by a son, Jimmy Jennings of Lomita, CA; daughter, Frances (Frankie) Jones of Wingina; daughter-in-law, Lisa Jennings of Lomita, CA; sister-in-law, Ottolene Jennings of Galax; brother-in-law, Everett Cox of Galax; five grandchildren, Sharon Tyree and husband, Jimmy, Chrissy Burnley and husband, Ricky, Thaddeous Green and wife, Christy, Marjorie Burnoudy and husband, Scott and Emily Taylor and husband, Sean and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Arvonia Community Cemetery, Arvonia. The Rev. Jamie Dunn will officiate.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening (tonight) from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
