DECEMBER 30 – Edna Cook O'Brien, 96, former resident of Roanoke, died Sunday, December 28, 2003 in Farmville.

She is survived by two granddaughters, Alice W. Crews and Frances W. Hazelwood and her husband, Bob all of Farmville and two great grandchildren, Shane P. Crews of Farmville and Sandra R. Elliott and her husband, Brian of Roanoke.

A graveside service was held 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) In Trinity Memorial Gardens,

Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, was in charge of arrangements.
