Funeral Service Held Thursday, June 3 For Estel Arlon Cook, 80

JUNE 3 – Estel Arlon Cook, 80, of Farmville passed away Monday evening, May 31, 2010 in Farmville. He was born February 16, 1930 in Madison County, NC, the son of the late Estel and Inez Chandler Cook. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a retired carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Maebelle Bowles Cook; sons, William Thomas Cook and wife, Dianne of Appomattox and Larry Lee Cook and wife, Christine of Farmville; daughter, Sharon Cook Caldwell and husband, Kent of Crewe; brother, Roy Cook and wife, Carol of Glen Allen; sister, Betty Lathan and husband, Larry of Cumberland and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maude Childrey Cook.

A funeral service was held Thursday, June 3, in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice.
